Acquisition
This is a very general term but relates to both Curiosity and Initiative as well as leadership.Acquisition of Initiative
I was told on report cards in school that I lacked the same , and since then have developed a huge amount of curiosity -- which should compensate. These are the definitions : (per Merriam Websters Online Dictionary) A. Initiative :energy or aptitude displayed in initiation of action :enterprise <showed real initiative ;— on one's own initiative=: at one's own discretion: independently of outside influence or controlThis heady stuff in "Think and Grow Rich"
guess it implied more I lacked courage than imagination -- but wouldn't ask - -
allows that we need to use our imaginations and develop self-confidence to achieve at all - - or at least to become a leader.
B. "Curiosity" which I always thought was part and parcel of the above -- as its being "intellectual curiosity" is defined such:
desire to know:a: inquisitive interest in others' concerns :nosiness b: interest leading to inquiry <intellectual curiosity>
-Just in being there's a "Self Confidence Affirmation" in Napoleon Hill's materials that contains 5 statement , #2 of which says

[Centered on my definite purpose in life - paragraph 1-and written down. --
Then in # 3. --
- - will never stop trying until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for ite attainment.
this concept is culminated in the need to build it on truth and justice willingness to serve other -- so as to
expect
them to feeel urge to serve me -- and abandon prejudice and jealousy.
-- Love for all humanity. A rather conflicted concept if one has any
allegiances.
